I saw God

And “s”he is a godess.
Ditta von teese was spotted by my lovely eyes as I was standing in front the bhv looking at beth ditto.

Dita crossed the street with her french boyfriend (plain but only plain). Everybody was focusing on beth and ignored the burlesque queen… Only two people saw her at last ^^
I saw her, she waited a few second to make her way throught people, i moved a bit, she looked at me, smiled, and stared as I was watching her flawless face.

I think I’m in love.

Beth Ditto was on the BHC with Castelbajac to turn on the light on the BHV, a FAAAMOUS department store that present a lot of cool brand as well as floor dedicated to art.

The lovely Beth was crazy cool as she appeared in a “brick printed” dress, singing an acapella rendition of I will always love you. She was just herself, lovely and gofy, as she looked at a camera saying “it’s chritmas bitch” ^^

I’m a fan!

A new job…

I keep on writing to keep a trace from the past, to see my evolution…

So, I finally found a job, but did not find my place yet, i’m on my way. Give me time and I’ll be on the top of what I can achieve.

Never try to achieve what the others did, don’t try to be the best, only the best you can be ^^

Feel like sharing

I need to talk.
I know I need to expressing things to some but don’t know what!
I said I ould not delete this blog, ofr once, keeping it to keep track of my “emotial staus” ahah^^ remenbering what made me mad, sad or simply happy…

…And yet, when I look back I see nothing exept… Nothing, and of course can’t get nothing out of nothing. I don’t really understand the current situation, some point, but not the main point. Need to feel renewed.
That’s why I need to talk, to find a reason to all this mess^^ For the moment the music remains a good way to stay focused on what’ll come next.

M-A-C “Make up test”

I am still supposed to do my make up test and yet, a week after my encounter with the two MAC babes I have no date for my evaluation.
Today I phoned Kim Tran, the stunning Asian (Vietnamese I guess) girl who was supposed to call me to tell me when the date is. I don’t have her number so it was quite hard to joi her at first, but my experience as a receptionist taught me these:

I composed the number of the standard to ask for my call to be “forwarded” to Kim. At the reception of the company, it seems like there was no one to answer. Finally, I made the same number, replacing the last two digits by ten. Then, I ended up with a guy at the other end of the line and acted quite well:

Hello, the standard was supposed to transfer my call at the 6th floor, for Miss Kim Tran, at MAC, and I think they made a mistake, I hope you can help!

And In a couple of the second, the beautiful lady was blabbing with me. Basically, she told me the make up artist responsible for the test are quite busy, so my evaluation with take place somewhere in the beginning of March.

This is my girl ahahahah. Rupaul. The on eand only. I love the character, the persona, the cult mottos of the diva. I discovered and began to love MAC throught the viva glam campaing Rupaul did. It’s all about glam, so let’s take a look at the Icon who were featured (only my favourite)

Rupaul: Rupaul!

Amanda Lepore: Sexperimental

Eartha Kitt: Féline fatal

Barbie: (Misss triple B) Brainless Blond Bitch

Lil’kim: (at the time she did the campaign) Ultimate Ghetto glam babe

Boy george: Androginy at its best, masculine and yet so glam

Missy Elliott: Ghetto fierceness

Ditta von teese: Vintage glam beauty

I knew, and worshipped all of these icons before I knew MAC. With that said, there’s no wonder why I heart that brand so much. I added one word to describe them.

Viva glam, it’s also, and most of all, The MAC AIDS fund established in 1994, because viva glam is a financial support for the Fund

Eartha Kitt.

Eartha Kitt mickaelsurtour.com

I discovered Eartha Kitt in boomerang. This post is just here to give you an idea of what inspired me and contributed to help me to define beauty.

More than beauty and exotism, Eartha Kitt like all diva, had a “Stature”, an attitude, a “Façon d’être” (way to behave), that was absolutely hers, and nobody else’s. The way she moved her eyes, the way she walked, talked… Her signatures! That moaning, that kitty purring. Ahahah it was so unique.

On her official website, here is what her daughter wrote, in December, after she passed away:

She did not want to be buried because she didn’t want to take up space.

She wanted no funeral or service.

She wanted to leave this earth as she had arrived, with no fanfare.

The life she lived is tribute itself.

Did you read it? Can you believe it? Do know what mean?

It’s all about humility…

Forever remembered.

Let’s blog about the brand I dream to work for. MAC!!!

Make-up Art Cosmetics, better known to most as MAC Cosmetics. One of the mostfamous (and my favourite) brand of cosmetics, founded by Frank Angelo. MAC now belong to the Estée Lauder Companies. The brand became widely known by word-of-mouth, endorsements by professional makeup artists and became famous worldwide with the help of models and celebrities. By choosing original or extravagant people in their campaingn, and being the first cosmetics brand to explore other aesthetic than the mainstream style of the time. AVANT GARDE BABY!!!

When you read me saying, FAKE IS THE NEW COOL, if you look at mac campaign, you will see what i’m talking about, ‘cos that’s what it’s all about.

This is shot but I did not want do write something boring to read. Let’s talk about what brought me to MAC. I first heard about it thanks to two of my cousin, the divine Cacamba and Kempo. They were really beautiful girls always aware of the last trends. Even if they where not following it. One time they talked about MAC, and when I discovered the viva glam campaign I got hooked.

The lion King review.

The lion king. Y’all know what’s all about don’t cha??? I was not so excited by the movie actually. Talking animals always seemed weird to me.

Whatever… When I saw the crew of the musical (French crew) on TV, I really enjoyed what I saw and what I heard. A good friend brought me to the theatre last night, he invited me actually. I was excited to see the whole thing when I arrived, and I’ll tell you how I felt during the representation and how I felt when I left. Let’s go.

The show started, we here the voice of Zama Magudulela, the prodigy who plays Rafiki. Let’s start with that woman. She got a voice. She definitely has a VOICE!!! A heavenly voice. She’s talented, gifted, blessed, anointed, chills in my body whenever she sang. She could bring the church into your house just by singing the dictionary, pretending to sing the finest gospel. This is gold. She sang in her native language in some parts. And thought anyone in the room could understand, we felt it, she carried us thanks to her message. It was all about emotion and that’s why everybody felt it from the top of their heads to the sole of their feet.

I write a lot about her because she really surprised me. First, due to her origins, her voice is particular because of the parts of her throat she used to sing. It’s certainly cultural. While she was singing, belting or yelling, is was clear that she was not using any singing technique we usually hear. The way she used her resonator, her nose and everything else was fantastic. She has an astonishing powerful voice. Being able to sing so loud without belting is a prowess. She got a powerful voice for sure, which compare with any top gospel singer from the belting queen that Yolanda Adams or Tamela Mann are, but she never overused that tool, or call it gift, when singing. Zama, if you stumble across that post, marry me. Ahah.
